About the challenge

We created Enriched CS because we fell in love with the hackathon culture. First, collaboration in a hackathon is an amazing process, where bright minds collaborate together to create something that reflects each of their strengths. Our hackathon is geared towards all levels whether you are a beginner or experienced. 

 

What to Build

You may build any kind of tech-related project, as long as the project adheres to the hackathon’s cs related sphere. (However big or small)! The possibilities are endless: apps, websites, programs, models, or even research!

 

**THE PROJECT CANNOT HAVE BEEN STARTED PRIOR TO 1 month OF THE HACKATHON START DATE! ALl projects found to violate this rule will be eliminated**

Kick Off/ Hackathon Starts: Friday, February 17

Submission Due:  Friday, February 24 

Awards Ceremony (Zoom): Sunday, February 26

Requirements

You  MUST submit :

2-5 minute video demonstrating project and explaining use

** CLEAR instructions on how to run/test project (If we cannot figure out how to run your project it will be disqualified)

4-5 sentences explaining goal of project

Judging Criteria

  • Creativity/Uniqueness
    How unique is your solution? Is it something that is extremely common such as a fitness tracker or is it a novel method of detecting hurricanes?
  • Impact
    How viable is your product in the real world? Can it be easily implemented and beneficial?
  • Effort/Complexity
    How polished/detailed is your final product. Is it an involved solution or something fairly simple? How does it respond to a variety of test sets? How many features are present?
  • Overall Design
    How appealing is your final project? How is it presented?
